Your assigned resident will be given to you at orientation.  Please contact Tammie at 362-2469 with questions.  If she is not available, Patricia Sharp, 362-1222, assigns your resident. 

Please page your assigned resident the day before to arrange a time to meet after the Advanced Research Seminar (3rd Fl. Conference Room, Renard). 

Clinic hours on Wednesday’s are usually 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Students should plan to spend the entire day. NOTE: students are to participate in the Wednesday Advanced Resident Seminar from 9-10:30a,3rd floor Conf. Room, Renard

Chemical Dependency - ALL
17th floor of Barnes 

Take the express elevators to 17, turn right and go around the corner.

Pager: 424-0397, supervises the work there. 

Call the unit directly (PH: 362-8884), inform the charge nurse who you are and ask to speak with the resident to coordinate a mtg. time.

Clinic hours: 8:00 – 12:00n. The staff will orient you and give you a schedule of unit meetings. Your resident will supervise your work.

Pediatric clinic

 

Montclair bldg on the NE corner of Kingshighway and Forest Park.  The clinic occupies the 1st Fl of  the apartment complex and has a separate entrance.

Contact Tammie Repko (362-2469) or Meghan Williams (286-2727) if you have any questions.  Please make sure you know which attending is covering on the various days and their start times. 

Please go to  respective clinics! Arrive at Montclair and get directions to go where your attending has clinic that afternoon:
M- Dr. Luby; meet @ 12N Dr. Luby's office suite (conf room) Montclair  RM,L101[NOT her clinic office]
– Dr. Reiersen: meet at 12:15 (ask for ‘attending’ room to find resident
T-Dr. Boxer; show up by 12 for lecture  (if later – don’t show up until 12:50 - after  Professor Rounds

NOTE: Clinic evaluations begin at various times for each day.  Check your day/time carefully!  Your clinic hours will vary depending on which day you are assigned, but generally afternoons between 11 am and 6 p.m. 

 

PARKING: Students are NOT allowed to park in the parking lot at Montclair.  Please be prepared to pay for metered parking or to walk to the clinic.

BJC Behavioral Health
There are 3 sites, but report to the Olive location unless otherwise instructed.  Hours are 12:30p to 5:30 p.m.

 

 

Mark Johnson, M.D. will assign you. You will shadow your assigned resident/ attending for the day.

Please arrive at the downtown Olive location on your assigned day at 12:30 p.m.  Dr. Johnson and the other attendings will have already been notified that you are coming.

1430 Olive St.:  Take 40 to 14th St., turn Left and go to Pine, turn Left. The parking lot  is immediately on the right; don’t park by windows, use visitor lot (up ramp).

 

ECT

 

Before arriving you should have read the ECT chapter in the Wash. U. textbook

Contact Pamela Lacey at 362-3090 to reschedule.

Arrive at 7:30 a.m. If you need to switch days (e.g. you're post-call that day), you can do so if you make sure no other student will be there on your new day.

The ECT suite is located at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (15500).

The ECT suite runs Monday - Saturday.
