Resident of the Year Award
Drs. Ben Holt and Tony Thrasher have been selected by the WUMS Class of 2009 to receive Resident of the Year Awards for their excellence in teaching during the 2007-08 academic year. This is the third time Dr. Thrasher has received the Resident of the Year Award. The awards will be presented at the annual Distinguished Service Teaching Awards Ceremony on Nov. 18, 2008. Drs. Holt and Thrasher continue a tradition of excellence in teaching by psychiatry residents. Earlier resident recipients of the Resident of the Year Award include Drs. Megan Schabbing (2006-07 academic year), Elise Fallucco (2005-06 academic year), Jeremy Thompson (2005-06 academic year), Tony Thrasher (2005-06 and 2004-05 academic years), Anya Voeller (2003-04 academic year), Sofia Yahya (2002-03 academic year), and Fay Womer (2002-03 academic year).
