Residency Program Application
The Department of Psychiatry participates in the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) and only accepts PGY-1 applications via this mechanism.

For American Medical Graduates applying through ERAS, please contact the Dean's office of your Medical School.
International Medical Graduates should contact the ECFMG Office at erashelp@ecfmg.org or call 215-386-5900.
- For applicants who require visa sponsorship, we sponsor J-1 visas only.
- In general, all PGY-1s begin the program on July 1st.
- Please include 3-4 letters of recommendation as part of your ERAS application.
- We do request that your USMLE transcript be part of your ERAS application.
